The App

The Alvio Network app allows you to easily connect your Shopify store with another Shopify store. Share products and order information and automate sales and orders between them based on rules you set.

 

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, you accept and provide us the ability to access certain types of information from your Shopify account: 

  • Orders: Used to share order information between connected stores when customers checkout
  • Customers: Used to share customer information on orders between connected stores when customers checkout
  • Products: Used to share all available product information between connected stores
  • Shop data: This is the only type of personal identifiable information we store in our database and is used for parts of the app including authenticating users, displaying parts of the app admin dashboard and managing billing info

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

  • Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, and billing information

  • We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account.

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App if you have opted into marketing communications. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. This can be in the form of surveys, email promotions and notifications around service issues, updates and related products we think might be of interest

 

Sharing Your Personal Information

As a Shopify focussed company we work with a large number of third parties, platforms and data processors. We may share anonymised data with external providers such as Marketing Analytics companies or Social Media organisations. Where we are the ‘data controller’ we will comply with data protection law. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

We DO NOT engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

  • Temporary denylist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This denylist persists for a small number of hours.
  • Temporary denylist of credit cards associated with denylisted IP addresses. This denylist persists for a small number of days.

 

GDPR

If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that your Personal Information be corrected, updated, or erased. Your Personal Information will be initially processed in Ireland and then will be transferred outside of Europe for storage and further processing, including to Canada and the United States.
