Having spent many years trying to find the perfect Beanie or Bobble Hat both on the ski slopes and in the great outdoors, it finally occurred to the founders of Big Bobble Hats to create their own!
Their first set of hats were worn on a trip to Les Arc in 2010 and the feedback received was fantastic, and Big Bobble Hats was born. Nearly 13 years later they now have over 100 styles of Big Bobble Hats!
Big Bobble Hats have expanded their hat range to now include beanies, bucket hats and baseball caps. They now also proudly sell clothing too. All of their products are designed in Scotland, and named by their fans via naming competitions on social media!
BOBBLE HATS IN SPORT
In 2018, Big Bobble Hats became an Official Supplier of the Union Cycliste Internationale Cyclo-cross World Championships. The UCI is the worldwide governing body for cycling. In 2023, they announced that Big Bobble Hats are now Official Partners of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships 2023-2026. Over the last five years they have developed a UCI range of rainbow stripes hats and other exciting woolly products. This includes scarves and beanies in a range of colours that have become exclusive UCI licensed products.
Big Bobble hats have now started to work with large sports teams such as: Hearts of Midlothian Football Club, Burnley Football Club, Team Jumbo Visma, the list goes on. They have also just launched a new partnership with British cycling which includes merchandising and a free hat for all new members. This type of work with sports teams is exactly what Big Bobble Hats is looking to take on along with supplying to trade shops.
