Their collection includes Bacchus, Classic Cuvee, Classic Cuvee Rosé and Pinot Noir & Dornfelder and Bacchus Dry Gin.
From the start, they’ve focused on the importance of terroir—the unique combination of soil, climate, and natural surroundings that make each wine truly special. They partner with Defined Wine to bring additional expertise and precision to the winemaking process, and they’re proud to work not only with their own vineyard but also with a small network of local, hidden gem vineyards, each with its own exceptional terroir, creating wines that express the beauty of this land.
Sustainability is at the heart of everything they do. Certified by Sustainable Wines of Great Britain, they practise regenerative farming, which includes cover cropping to enhance soil health, promoting biodiversity, and protecting the ecosystem with minimal soil disturbance.
They minimise spraying and other interventions to ensure every step aligns with our ethos of stewardship. The vineyard is carbon negative, and they hand-label their bottles with paper-based labels. As a family-run business, each glass reflects their dedication to quality, sustainability, and a legacy they are proud to share.
Terlingham Wines
2023 Bacchus
This Bacchus wine has vibrant aromas of elderflower, melon and passion fruit. It has a wonderful depth of flavour of tropical fruits, guava and pear on the palate. It is backed with a lovely smooth finish, very crisp and with a touch of minerality. Delicious with chicken and fish dishes, creamy cheeses such as goats cheese, brie and camembert, or a light salad.
Classic Cuvee 2021 – Sparkling White
On the nose the aroma of baked apple is balanced by delicate floral notes of waterlily. On the palate, mouthwatering orchard fruit flavours are perfectly complemented by a fresh acidity. At the finish, a crisp minerality, with an abundant creamy mousse. This pairs perfectly with a wide range of dishes such as grilled fish, chicken and pork; as well as decadent creamy desserts.
2023 Pinot Noir & Dornfelder
This elegant dry rosé has aromas of fresh strawberry and juicy watermelon, followed by a delicious red berry finish. Perfect with pastas, grilled seafood or a charcuterie board.
2021 Classic Cuvée Rosé
A sumptuous blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. A delicate pink sparkling rosé with strawberry, shortbread, rhubarb crumble and cinnamon on the nose. On the palate, the gentle mousse, luscious fruit medley and persistent floral finish make this sparkling wine an absolute delight. Delicious with creamy cheeses such as brie and camembert. Also excellent with seafood, cured meats and roast vegetables.
Bacchus Dry Gin limited edition bottle, Wild Glass
A gold-award winning gin, small batch and hand-made with love, just like the team at Terlingham do.They’ve crafted a very special gin, using their award-winning Bacchus wine as the “magic ingredient”.
Inspired by their wines, this is a classic dry gin. They start with traditional juniper and add some locally found botanicals – rhubarb and nettle. Their award-winning Bacchus wine gives it a delicate sweetness, with notes of elderflower. Then fresh lime and orange peel. Finally, they add a touch of honey in the distillation.Made with the last of their 2020 Bacchus wine, they’ve only produced 1300 bottles of this once-in-a-lifetime gin! The limited edition bottle is made of 100% recycled glass.
