Configuring your ecommerce partnerships is now quicker and more efficient.

You can configure all of your standard commercials from product pricing to shipping and inventory policies before you create a partnership.

When you create a partnership all of these settings will automatically be applied to the partnership all you have to do is then select the product range you wish to make available at the click of button.

Optionally you can override any of these settings within the relationship on a case by case basis 

Set up standard commercials 

  1. On the Dashboard, click Manage Partnerships 
  2. On Your Partnerships screen click Set Standard Commercials
  3. Configure and save your shipping, inventory, invoicing & product pricing  
  4. Click Retailer products & pricing

 

  

You can also migrate your existing partnerships to these configs by  

Migrating existing partnerships to standard commercials 

  1. On the Dashboard, click Manage Partnerships or for new connections displayed on the dashboard click Configure connection.
  2. On Your Connections locate your partner in the Tabs.
  3. Click on Configure connection.
  4. On the main partnership page Click Use Standard Commercials on the items you wish to use this setting
  5. Click on Edit Product Pricing & Sharing Rules
  6. Click Use Standard Commercials 

 

Partner Shipping costs

  1. On the Dashboard, click Manage Partnerships or for new connections displayed on the dashboard click Configure connection.
  2. On Your Connections locate your partner in the Tabs.
  3. Click on Configure connection.
  4. On the Partnership dashboard scroll to Partner Shipping costs
  5. Select Shipping cost option 
  6. Click Save shipping rules

NB: Flat rate shipping is the ex VAT cost of shipping added to each order from the retailer. Always the cheapest or most expensive will treat the order as if the shipping was calculated through your own checkout and apply a shipping cost accordingly.

 Partner inventory rules

  1. On the Dashboard, click Manage Partnerships or for new connections displayed on the dashboard click Configure connection.
  2. On Your Connections locate your partner in the Tabs.
  3. Click on Configure connection.
  4. On the Partnership dashboard scroll to Partner inventory rules
  5. Select Inventory Rule
  6. Click Save inventory Rules
 
The options they can choose are

Turn off stock sync
Retailer will always be able to place orders for products regardless of your store stock rules or current availability

Turn on stock sync
Stock levels of imported products within the Retailer will be kept in sync with your store. You can choose to exact availability or to only share the current status.

> Share the current status only
Hide exact stock levels from the retailer. Products will be shown as in stock or out of stock.

> Share the exact stock values
Share exact stock levels with the retailer.

Setting Pricing

All pricing you set will be the ex VAT price you are effectively charging the retailer for each product.

The pricing you set for your retailer are specific to them you can do this in a number of ways 

You can update the pricing for any products at any time and this will be synced to the retailer  

Retailer Pricing

This sets a global pricing across all products for this retailer. As you can see above this can be based on the 'price field' you charge or if you use it the cost 'per item field' in Shopify. 

  1. Select Use 'price' or 'cost per item'
  2. Enter a price modifier which is the % trade discount you want to offer asa negative number with  proceeding - or to increase the price any whole number as percentage. Alternatively use the up and down arrows 
  3. Click Save Retailer Prices

NB: you can change any pricing at any point ( even on a currently live connection ) and this will automatically be updated in your retailers store cost per item field ( for Shopify ) and will start importing orders with these costs. 

Product Specific Pricing

You can set specific pricing for any product and this will override any Retailer pricing already set for this product, however, will not effect any other products. 
Options for Product Specific Pricing are identical to those of Retailer pricing with the added option to manually price the products and its variants.
  1. Click the product you want to edit
  2. Select Set product specific price rules 
  3. Select pricing method 
  4. Click Save Changes

TIP: Use Retailer Pricing to set a broad base line trade discount then modify with Product Specfic Pricing to achieve even complex pricing models quickly or reward retailers for selling large numbers of a specific product by giving them better rates on those products 

Sharing Products

To Share products its very simple just in the same way you published your products to the Alvio platform we use the same UI and methodology.

When you initially share or share more products in an existing relationship the retailer will get a notification via Email. To avoid spamming your retailers these notifications only go out once an hour 

Share products with new partnerships 

Firstly navigate to the partnership that has been created

  1. On the Dashboard, click Manage Partnerships or for new connections displayed on the dashboard click Configure connection.
  2. On Your Connections locate your partner in the Tabs.
  3. Click on Configure connection.
  4. Click Configure Products & Pricing

 Then share the products 

  1. Filter or Search for the products or products you want to share 
  2. Select product or products 
  3. Click Share  

Unshare a product 

  1. Filter or Search for the products or products you want to Unshare 
  2. Select product or products 
  3. Click Unshare
